The Magic & Mystery of Sea Glass
Sea glass begins its life as something ordinary — a bottle, a jar, a fragment of glass — before the sea slowly transforms it.
Over many years the waves tumble the glass against sand and stone, softening the sharp edges and frosting the surface until it becomes the smooth, luminous pieces we find along the shoreline.
Each piece of sea glass carries the marks of time and tide. No two pieces are ever the same, which is why every piece of sea glass jewellery is unique.
All of the glass I use is collected during walks along the coast with my family, a friend or a quiet moment by myself. Finding it is always an exciting moment of wonder — a glint of colour among the stones, shaped by years of movement in the ocean.
For me, sea glass is a beautiful reminder that transformation happens slowly, and that the sea has a way of turning even broken things into something unexpectedly beautiful.
