About Emer

Emer O'Neill

Hello, I’m Emer O’Neill.

I’m an artist, jewellery maker, and holistic creative therapist living in County Cork with my husband, two daughters, and our slightly chaotic collection of cats.

My work brings together creativity, mindfulness, and connection to nature. Through workshops, art journaling, meditation, and creative exploration, I help people rediscover their imagination and express themselves in ways that feel honest and nourishing.

My background includes training in fine art and holistic integrated creative arts therapy, and I’ve spent many years guiding both adults and children through creative processes that support self-expression, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

I believe creativity isn’t about talent or perfection — it’s about curiosity, play, and allowing yourself to explore.

What connects all of my work — whether I’m making jewellery, painting the sea, or guiding a creative workshop — is a deep belief in the restorative power of creativity and nature.

The shoreline is one of my greatest teachers. Walking the coast, collecting sea glass, and watching the tide move in and out has shaped the way I think about creativity and wellbeing. The sea reminds me that transformation takes time, that rough edges can soften, and that beauty often emerges slowly through patience and movement.

That same philosophy guides the creative spaces I hold for both children and adults. Through art, imagination, meditation/storytelling, and mindful creativity, I aim to create a gentle environment where people can explore, express themselves, and reconnect with their natural curiosity.

Whether you arrive here through a piece of sea glass jewellery, a painting, or a creative workshop, everything offered through Tidal Soul Studio is rooted in the same intention — to nurture creativity, connection, and a sense of calm in a busy world.
